In Behbahan, a city in Iran, there is a tomb called the tomb of Amu Khan, which belongs to Mullah Akhund Behbahani, who wrote the Quran without a single dot. In the years when there is little rain, men, women, and children of the city would gather near his tomb and by reciting this poem, they would call on this person.

The stones are used to produce more sound and excitement. They believe in this so much that they say it would rain, even before people are returning to their homes. The performance is a modern recitation of this Iranian tradition.
