IMMIGRATION IV, 2021
Environmental conditions directly affect humans. Over time, humans adapt to the environment, nature, people, buildings, etc. At the beginning of each immigrant’s journey, this sudden shift is very challenging for them. However, based on the human ability to adapt to the environment, this difficulty may gradually disappear. As an immigrant who is in her first year of immigration, I can really understand this challenge and I’m dealing with it. Physical immigration happens in one day or less. Mental immigration happens over time and in some cases, never happens.

A TRIBUTE TO THE BREADWINNERS OF THE FAMILY I, 2021
There are many backpackers who carry goods between the two sides of the country’s borders to earn a living. In fact, because of unemployment and low wages, they smuggle products as big as fridges on their backs. Imagine going through the mountains in harsh weather while you are carrying such a heavy load on your back!

DROUGHT, HOPE AND STRUGGLE VI, 2021
In Behbahan, a city in Iran, there is a tomb called the tomb of Amu Khan, which belongs to Mullah Akhund Behbahani, who wrote the Quran without a single dot. In the years when there is little rain, men, women, and children of the city would gather near his tomb and by reciting this poem, they would call on this person.
The stones are used to produce more sound and excitement. They believe in this so much that they say it would rain, even before people are returning to their homes. The performance is a modern recitation of this Iranian tradition.

WISHING FOR FRESH AIR I & II, 2020
